Siblings and Staying Cosy

Now it’s November, the evenings are getting darker and siblings are spending more time indoors. Although it’s nice to stay cosy and warm, it can also be a bit hard if you don’t get time away from your brothers and sisters and can’t spend as much time with your friends as usual. Here are some ideas which might help

  • Ask a parent or carer to help you make a cosy spot in the house just for you. Use cushions and blankets to make a little nest which you can go to when you want time to listen to music or read a book on your own
  • Use the longer evenings and time indoors to learn a new skill, learn how to play a new game with your brother or sister or take up a new crafting project
  • Have a look at our YoungSibs website for games and how to have fun with your family during the winter months
