Difficult behaviour, which can also be called Behaviour that challenges, is when brothers or sister with learning disabilities or autism behave in ways that hurt themselves or others. They might hit, kick, bite, scratch or scream. Siblings tell us that when their disabled brother or sister does this it can make them feel unsafe, sad or frightened. If you feel like this, It is important to get help and t is not OK to get hurt. There are things which you can do to help yourself
- Tell a parent, teacher or carer what things are like for you
- write to our Sibling Advisor if you feel worried or scared
